Manufacture of customised products Our Manufacturing and Site Services division is the corner stone of the Group and compliments both the Car Park and Smoke Control divisions. The manufacturing operation was established in 1991and it has a solid foundation of experience in design, supply and installation within a wide range of industries. During the past 10 years the Group has concentrated on products and services for Smoke Control Systems now enabling the Group to offer a full and comprehensive service to its customers.

Our Expertise

The expertise within the engineering division is constantly evolving. Being involved in many bespoke manufactured items means we have the confidence and resource to undertake complex projects of any size. We pride ourselves on the ability to diversify and meet our client’s needs and have successfully completed projects varying from bespoke fabrications for fire protection in tunnels, to the design, build and installation of an extract system for a formula one engine workshop.

Research and Development

The ability to design and manufacture in house also enables us to invest in Research and Development projects, which we are always keen to do. Our R & D work has been in support of our clients’ needs as well as meeting our own aspiration for developing our own products to keep abreast of new regulations and technologies and to keep our own Group ahead of our competition technically and commercially.

Attenuation Systems

The Advanced Smoke Group design & advice capabilities cover all areas of building & smoke control safety requirements and extend to all aspects of noise emission control for any of the systems offered by the Group.

Today’s projects require compliance with planning authority noise emission criteria, as part of the client design/contract package. As a company we are aware of the need to offer “complete” solutions which fulfil all statutory obligations.

The Advanced Smoke Group, have in house, design & manufacturing ability to ensure our contracts are noise compliant and are “bespoke” engineered to suit the available building envelope.

ASG also have available noise measurement instrumentation (standard type 1 - exceeding BS EN 60804 & 60651) for on site noise evaluation should a more extensive site survey be required.
