Palace of Westminster

Advanced Smoke Group were asked to install a smoke ventilation system serving a basement services area below the Palace of Westminster buildings. This involved a series of tunnel areas split into nine fire zones. One of the most challenging aspects of the work was actually transporting the large fans through very restricted spaces, in one case, having to split the fan assembly down in order to access the area.
